Football Fun

Oh how I love watching this boy play! His heart and soul is in every game, he tries his hardest even when faced with an opponent twice his size. He has no fear and will run from one side of the field to the other to help make a tackle. He is my Michael.

We were blessed with absolutely perfect weather for the game today! No need for winter coats, hot coffee or blankets like last week!

While they didn't win, they did play their hearts out and finally got a score on board!

Summers end

 And just like that Summer is officially over. We can add another successful camping season to the books.

And go figure, the very last day at the island and the kids would discover this rope hanging from the tree to swing on.

 I guess we'll have to put a tire swing back up again :)

So long island, we will see you next year!

FOOTBALL!!!

Another year of Football has begun!

They are off to a slower start this year, 0-2, but they have a lot of drive in them and I can't wait to see how the season plays out!

Scouts is back in Session!

Boy Scouts is officially back in session and the boys learned how to make their own Hobo Dinner.

They were in charge of starting their own fire to cook the meals.

 And while the coals were heating up, they went to work cutting and putting the meal together.

Leave it to the boys to be silly with the meals

Back to School

And just like that all 4 are in school! 

Every year I can't help but wonder, where did the time go, how did they get so big so fast! It seemed like I'd always have someone home with me, but in the blink of an eye, that time has come and gone. 

This year Michael is in his 2nd year of Middle school. 6th grade is where you will find him. 

Landon is finishing out his final year in the elementary school as a 4th grader!

 Miss Mackenzie is big 1st grader!

And my little baby has officially entered school. While I am super excited for her to grow and make friends, I'm also sad that my little side kick is going to be leaving me for school in the am this year. 

I wish all my littles have the best school year ever and look forward to hearing all about their days when they return home to me each afternoon.

Bay Beach

Our morning started out looking a little Sketchy, but we put on our brave faces and headed out anyways. 

Miss Mack got me on the tit-a-whirl, boy I sure don't have a stomach like I used too! I may have to skip the next ride on this one ;)

Michael and Mackenzie were the only 2 brave enough to take a spin on the Zippin Pippin!

But there were plenty of other rides to keep everyone entertained!

As Always, we saved the best for last. The Train ride!

Discovery World

Wow I can't believe its been almost a year since I've posted here! Well I surely have some catching up to do. I have tons of pics and outings I need to post about and now that the kids are headed back to school next week I'll have more time to sit down and get them posted. Some pics will be from months again, and some out of sequence, but my goal is to still get them posted so my loves have the memories to look back at. 

We are finishing up our last week of summer before school starts and took advantage of the cool weather and headed indoors to Discovery world this week. 

This is probably the longest they have ever sat still ;)
