Here we go Brewers, here we go!

We headed out to one of the final games of the season last night.

We settled into our seats and then enjoyed some ball park food

Even though our seats were at the tippy top of the stadium, we had the best view of Bernie and his trips down the slide.

And then we spotted Lynda, clear across the stadium, in way better seats than ours. And lucky for us, the usher let us join her!

(can you spot Lynda?)

Just minutes after we had settled into our new seats the play that would have everyone holding their breath took place.  Giancarlo Stanton took a nasty hit to the face.

It was visibly clear that our pitcher was shaken up from the hit.

After what seemed like an eternity, they finally got an ambulance in to get him the help he needed!

The game continued on, only to have the pitcher hit another player in the hand, which at that point caused what we thought was going to be a BIG fight!

Luckily things got settled down again after a few yelling matches and the game could be restarted yet again.

After the brawl was over, we discovered Lori was also at the game and sitting not to far from Lyndas seats.

(can you spot Lori and the girls)

As soon as the girls figured out how to get to Lori, they wanted nothing to do with us...

Overall a good time was had by all. We enjoyed cheering on the sausage racers.

And doing some dancing...

to get on the jumbo tron!

The evening wouldn't be complete without a picture with Mickey!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!

Today Michael's team played their first game of the season! We could not have asked for better weather so we enjoyed it! But, we know that as the seasons goes on, we will end up covered in blankets with hot chocolate.

Michael is #36, or the boy with the black socks ;)

The boys hung on strong! Our team doesn't have a lot of players, which means they don't get many breaks, they have to often play offense and then go back out for defense.

A Dad from the other team came over to compliment how well our boys played. He noticed that we are short causing them to have ALOT of playing time. He said they really held their ground and didn't give up!

In the end they came up short, but there was not 1 play that they didn't give it their all!!

Way to go on your first game 5th graders 6-13

So long hair...

He held on tight to this head of hair ALL summer long, he got ridiculed a lot for it (mainly by adults, which made me rather sad) But he wanted to be his own person and have a "style"of his own, so I said go for it. Because why not, its only hair, it could be worse right!?

But on Monday he came to me and said I think I'd like to get my hair cut, I said ok. So off we went to get it chopped. And now he look like a whole new boy!

But I think I miss that thick crazy hair that made him Michael.

School's back in Session

And so it begins, another school year back in full swing. I am officially a mother to a middle schooler....AHHHH, is he REALLY that big!?

Everyone woke up with ease and was excited to head off to school. And Lainey was just as excited to have the house to herself with mom.

Here's to looking forward to a little Mama and Lainey time.
