Port Harbor

We finally made it down to the new harbor walk in Port Washington today. They did a great job cleaning it up from what used to be the old coal docks.

Can you spot who was sick of the pictures!?

Ok, now go play!!

Meet & Greet

As summer has come to an end that time has come to meet the teachers.
Yesterday we headed to the school to drop off supplies, find new classrooms, and say hello to new teachers.

As always, it is sad to know summer has come to an end. As usual it is over faster then it started! But these 3 are ready to head back or at least I am ready for them to head back. They have reached that point of the summer where silly fights, rather then getting along consumes most of our day.

So its time for you to spread your wings and expand your brains, here's to an exciting and fun filled
 2014-2015 school year!

Birthday Party Fun!

We spent Sunday celebrating our 2 favorite little peoples birthday's.

Make a wish you 2!

I would say that's an EXCITED face for her Frozen dolls!

A warm sunny day wouldn't be complete without a little slip n slide fun!

And yes even the crazy adults had to get in on the fun.

Happy Birthday Vinny and Sophia

Saturday Football

We woke bright and early today to watch Micheal and his team play a few scrimmage games.

(he's the one on the end #22)

They did great today! Even though they were just practice games, they still won 3 out of 3 of the games!

Now all we need is some cooler weather instead of all this humidity to make it feel like football season.

We took a little break at home then headed to Racine to cheer on my sisters boyfriend as he played his football game #65

The kids all had a great time cheering him on!

Both teams were undefeated going into this game, so this was a BIG game.

This little girl, just couldn't stay awake for the whole game...

But she quickly woke up at the end of the game to all the cheering as Kingston's team had won 35-13!

Braces

And so it begins, Micheal went from this smile to...

This. Welcome to the world of Braces Micheal.
For the next 3 years we will be looking at a shiny toothed boy.

Here's to hoping the next 3 years go by without difficulties!

Random Lake Beach

The girls had such a great time at Harrington Beach that they wanted to take the boys back to have some fun. However when we got there we discovered that there was e coli in the water, so not wanting to catch it, we ventured over to random lake instead.

Mackenzie quickly found herself some new friends and stuck close with them for the afternoon.

These 3 stuck close together swimming and searching for fish.

Michael had caught some bluegill while he was up north and tried to bring them home to keep, but 30 minutes from home, the fish said their goodbyes. So Michael was determined to catch something here to take back home. He made friends with a boy and used his fishing pole to catch a fish.

When he didn't have any luck with the pole he gave his net a whirl.

And managed to catch these 2 little guys. We took them home and put them in our fish tank. The little guy on the left didn't make it overnight :/ But the one on the right, which Micheal claims is a bass, is still swimming strong :)

I would call this another successful day out!

Girls Day

While the boys were up north last weekend I had a girls day at Harrington Beach.

They became friends with a seagull...

and put together a rock collection.

It was an absolutely perfect day, spent with my 2 favorite little girls!

State fair

We almost didn't make it to State Fair this year because Steve wasn't able to get a day off. So rather than miss it completely, I pack up my tribe and braved the crowds by myself.

We saw a few animals, then headed over to the kids pavilion.

And they put their heads in SEVERAL cutouts.

Next was a trip down the giant pig...

Followed by the ever popular pig races!

You can't go to State Fair without getting a cream puff! We however opted to take ours home and enjoy them there.

Micheal didn't want to have one, but the other kids and I gobbled up ours.

Thank you State Fair, already looking forward to the goodies next year!!
